Kretz loves to adventure.  We had some late spring fun riding ferries, building ferries and logging little waves.

Tropical New York beach in the late spring.

Cold water, warm weather, warmer fire.

Candid.

Another little one.

Our friends from the GLP Oceanic Exploration Society (GLPOES) sent us some pictures of Harbor Seals they spotted on their adventures in the Fishers Island Sound this week. Harbor Seals are the only marine mammal common to the Long Island Sound, where they can be found from around mid-November through April. They have spotted coats with fur that varies from white to gray to brown and males can weigh up to almost 300 lbs and be up to 6 feet in length. The seals are very curious and will often approach you if you are in the water kayaking or paddelboarding. On land, the best chance to spot them is when they are basking in the sun on rocks or beaches. jim bittl seal water picture
